Just Another Classifier

Your licence

With a valid trial or paid licence, you have a limited, non-exclusive licence to install and use Just Another Classifier on one PC per licence, subject to this agreement. A second PC needs a separate licence. The software and bundled model materials remain subject to their respective intellectual property rights. Third-party components retain their own licence terms, supplied with the app.

Trial, subscription and offline lease

An eligible PC can start one 3-day free trial with a card up front. The paid plans are US$2/month or US$20/year per device, billed through Stripe. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the selected paid plan starts when the trial ends. See the terms of service for billing details.

Activation links the licence to your PC using device identifiers described in the privacy policy. The app renews its licence online. A valid cached lease lasts up to 3 days offline and never extends past your trial or subscription access deadline. Licensed classification is unavailable when a valid licence or lease is unavailable; it does not fall back to a cloud or pass-through AI service.

Cancellation, transfer and local data

You can cancel in the app or on the account page, with access continuing until the trial or paid period ends. Releasing a device does not cancel billing. Device recovery and release are the supported way to move an existing licence to a replacement PC. A previous PC may retain access until its existing offline lease expires.

Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. You control your local data and exports. Keep any files you need before removing or clearing the app's local storage.

Permitted use and restrictions

• Use the software lawfully and only with the licence issued for your PC.
• Do not share licence credentials or circumvent activation, device binding or expiry checks.
• Do not redistribute, resell or sublicense our software or bundled model materials without permission.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software except as permitted by applicable law or a relevant third-party licence.

A result, including an answer, refusal or request for clarification, is information for your application to handle. You are responsible for evaluating its suitability. The app is not a certified safety system. Use independent safeguards where an incorrect decision could cause harm.

Unara

Unara is in development. Memberships are not open. Its software licence and membership terms will be published before memberships open. This agreement does not grant access to unreleased Unara software or apply Just Another Classifier's subscription to it.

Legacy products

Existing legacy software remains subject to the licence supplied for that product and device. New legacy purchases and downloads are closed. Some legacy products disable features and use pass-through mode when a licence is missing or expired; that is product-specific behaviour, not the behaviour of Just Another Classifier.

For legacy physical deployments, you remain responsible for evaluating the full system, providing independent hardware safeguards and complying with applicable safety requirements. Legacy software is a tool, not a certification that a machine is safe. See the existing product documentation and contact us about the licence supplied with your purchase.

Updates and consumer rights

Software updates are covered by this agreement unless accompanied by separate terms. Stop using licensed features when your right to use them ends, and do not bypass the licence checks.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or changes a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. The responsibility and liability provisions in the terms of service apply only to the extent permitted by law.
